I grabbed the Ultra Clarifying Age-Renewing Serum because I am in my thirties with the skin of a teenager and I wanted something that addressed both wrinkles and pimples without making me choose between them. This is 1 fl oz of serum promising to reduce blemishes and marks, which I needed because my face was a map of current breakouts and past mistakes.The texture is light, almost watery, and absorbs instantly without the sticky residue that some serums leave. I applied it nightly for two weeks and watched my current breakout—the one that had taken up residence on my chin for three weeks—finally retreat. The marks left behind faded faster than usual, from angry red to faint pink, which meant I needed less concealer and felt less like a Dalmatian.My husband, who notices when I wear new clothes but not when I have a new face product, actually said “your skin looks clearer,” which is the equivalent of a standing ovation from him. My kid asked why I was “putting water on my spots again,” which is her commentary on all my skincare. The serum plays well with my other products; no pilling, no weird interactions, just clear skin emerging like a butterfly from a gross cocoon.Value is mid-range for a serum and worth it for the dual action on acne and aging. I had a lot of dryness with this serum
I found this serum to be a bit too drying for me in the winter months. It did do what it promised, which is to help clear out the skin. But unfortunately, the dryness made my skin peel after a few sessions, which obviously undid all the good things I got out of the serum. I think using this off and on will work okay for me. But as a daily product, it is too strong. I was also a little disappointed because this didn’t work much to fade dark spots or even out my skin tone.The serum feels lightweight. It has a very faint scent. It absorbs quickly and without a greasy residue. I think for the price, it’s worth it if your skin can tolerate it.

Easy to apply, non-greasy, and appears to be working so far
The first thing I did upon receiving this product was run it through an appp which scans product ingredients for their safety and potential health impact – the higher the score, the better – this rated at at a 93 (out of 100) with almost every ingredient at “no risk.” Impressive.I suffer from blackheads (worse now than when I was a teen – annoying). I have been using this product for about two weeks now (most nights, I forget some evenings, I admit). These are my observations:*The product does seem to be helping. After 2 weeks I have noticed that one persistent blackhead does not seem to be coming back, so it will be interesting to see if it continues to stay away – and I will be watching to see how my skin does through a full monthly cycle.*As for age-renewing, I suppose I should have taken a picture of my face before starting it – I’m not sure I’m really seeing any change there, however since the product cannot be used around the eyes and that’s the primary area where I see issues related to my age, that may be why.*I like that I can better control how much I am using with the dropper versus other products that use a pump where I always seem to end up with way too much.*The product goes on smoothly and does not feel greasy or oily – which is nice when you are doing it before bed.*There is no feeling on the skin when applying it – no tingling, stinging, or other weirdness as with some products for acne.*I have had none of the potential adverse reactions – which is nice. I have sensitive skin and have had issues with other products in the past. Of course, your mileage may vary where this is concerned. Please read the included warnings.Overall, at just a few drops a day this product should last quite a while making the price ($34.99 as of the posting of this listing) less gnarly than it seems at first. If it continues to work over time as it seems to be at first, I will definitely be considering getting more.

I tend to break out more during my menstrual cycle and this product is what I’ve been reaching for when that occurs. It noticeably reduces the appearance of imperfection and leaves my skin feeling healthy. This serum applies smoothly and evenly, absorbing quickly into your skin.
