Of course, the magic of this outfit is in the details—from the sheer feathery cotton of the tank top to the low-slung waistband of her navy trousers (yes, black and navy. Together. Groundbreaking!), to the ’80s-inspired hues of her trendy sneakers. This is not a woman who chases the latest trends. Instead, she curates which are for her, and which aren’t, and the final result is both timeless and so right now.
Eighties-inspired sneakers have been on the rise of late, a foil to the earthier shades we’ve been seeing for the last few seasons. Vibrant, near-neon colorways add a pop of color to any look needing that extra oomph. And for those of us who tend to wear head-to-toe black (guilty), they add visual interest without muddying an otherwise sophisticated color palette.
