Rihanna may steal A$AP Rocky’s clothes, but he just stole her whole look.
On August 13, A$AP Rocky attended a special screening of Apple Original Films and A24’s Highest 2 Lowest in Los Angeles wearing a bespoke look from ERL, complete with a navy nylon suit and grey dress shirt, topping everything of with plenty of diamond accessories and a pair of Ray Bans befitting the brand’s first creative director. Oh, and a silk polka dot tie we’ve definitely seen before.
Where have we seen this tie before? On A$AP Rocky’s own partner Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child. Prior to their announcement at the 2025 Met Gala, the pair welcomed two sons, RZA Athelston and Riot Rose Mayers, in 2022 and 2023.

Rihanna has cemented her status as a maternity style icon over the years, and nothing has changed with baby number three. Of course, one of her recent looks featured a sheer bra by Savage X Fenty underneath a baggy navy nylon suit, with nothing covering her growing baby bump but—you guessed it—a custom silk polka dot tie by ERL, which she left undone. While Rocky did not go shirtless like his partner, his boxer-inspired waistband feels like a playful homage to Rihanna’s own love of lingerie. Of course, these two are no strangers to “his-and-hers” dressing. In fact, the pair have a bit of an open closet policy.
“I think it’s just natural. We happen to look good together naturally,” Rocky told Dazed of their compatible style in 2020. “You know, it would take a lot of work to have us forcefully match before we leave the house. Sometimes we match to a T, or we just wear the same clothes. If I buy a shirt that she likes, I expect to get it stolen…but then I gotta steal it back.”
