Here in North America, the World Cup has us in a very sporty mood. But across the pond, Harry Styles is in a jorty mood.
The look was classic Styles. In the midst of a Wembley Stadium residency, the singer braved the London heatwave in his beloved white Xanax tee over a white long-sleeve, and stayed consistent with his white Vans and outsized Jacques Marie Mage aviators.

While the layered look might be a bit warm in the 90-degree temps, Styles ensured plenty of ventilation with his jorts. He wore a pair of light-wash blue denim cutoffs, the frayed edges grazing his thighs. These shorts are, plainly put, the Platonic ideal, the Goldilocks of jean shorts: they are just roomy, long, and blue enough for any wearer.
Jorts are notoriously difficult to shop for—arguably more daunting than jeans. With endless criteria, knowing exactly what to ask for from a pair of jean shorts is paralyzing. But, for anyone who has experienced ego death in a fluorescent-lit dressing room while trying on jorts, let Harry Styles be your sartorial North Star.
