The fall 2026 edition of Paris Haute Couture Week is shaping up to be one of the most exciting since, well, last season.
While proceedings kicked off with an off-schedule presentation from Olivier Theyskens’s new label, Boloria, the biggest draw is a series of major firsts: London-based Michael Stewart’s couture debut for Standing Ground, Pierpaolo Piccioli’s for Balenciaga, Duran Lantink’s for Jean Paul Gaultier and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s for Fendi, which will be staged at Rome’s Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, before the week bows out with Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda presentation in Taormina.
Of course, there are also Chanel, Christian Dior, and Schiaparelli, which kicked things off on a high when Emma Corrin climbed the steps of the Petit Palais in a feathered jacket sprouting talon-like claws (beaks?) from its bust and shoulder blades. It is, after all, celebrities on the front row who cause just as much of a spectacle as the collections themselves.
