King Princess loves a comfortable silence.
While one might expect the musician to have a highly curated playlist bumping while she gets ready for the Jil Sander spring 2027 show, KP actually prefers a more relaxed hair and makeup routine. “I like to sit in complete silence and get my face painted,” she tells Vogue. “It’s wonderful and meditative.”
After glam is finished—which includes her “pretty extensive skincare routine”—it’s time to get dressed. King Princess selected look from fall 2026 collection: a lush double-breasted camel coat with a pair of navy trousers, with—Simone Belloti’s signature touch—a half-tucked collar. Straight away, the singer saw the rock’n’roll potential in the look. “I saw this coat and thought to myself, this is fierce,” she says. “It feels like Marc Bolan would wear this on a T. Rex album cover.”
Backup outfits included several suiting options appealed to King Princess. “There were a couple of suits that really stood out to me. They were playing with business in the front, party in the back, which I love,” she says. But that said, nothing beats an effortless, perfect fit. “The fit of Jil Sander pants is undeniable,” she says. “It’s rare to put on a suit pant and require no tailoring, and these slipped on like butter.”
The day was made extra special thanks to King Princess’s plus-one: her mom, Aggie. After taking some selfies for posterity, the pair sat for the show, and then joined fellow front-row attendee Girl in Red for post-runway pasta. Here, she brings Vogue along for her day in Milan.
