These little brushes are short, hefty and feel nice in the hand. I was looking for a new set of makeup brushes I could take with me on a trip. I needed a full set, but ones that wouldn’t take up too much space. My regular brushes have loooong handles that taper to a point sharp enough to part your hair… I don’t need the full experience of that while I’m on vacation. I’m also not a huge fan of the dual sides brushes, I typically wind up getting makeup on my hands when using a dual sides brush, so those weren’t really something I wanted but is usually what you can expect when looking for a “travel” set of brushes. Well these definitely won’t have that issue being single type brushes. Anyway, these happened to be the perfect size. The handles aren’t too long but they are substantial enough for a good satisfying grip.The bristles are soft and have a lovely brown to ash-gray gradient color. The brushes that have a straight cut on them are very uniform and cleanly edged. Yes, there are a few that have some stray hairs peeking up above the herd… But not to any kind of meaningful degree and those strays are easily trimmed. The bristles are all very secure, I tugged on several and none came loose. It’s anyone’s guess how well they will stand up to being cleaned, I’m not prepared to give them a full bath just yet (nor do I feel like I should given that they lack any kind of odor or sign of debris that would make me hesitant to use them straight from the assembly line).The brush handles feel nice in the palm of your hand, in fact they’re rather cool given the metal and plastic frame (metal at top, plastic on the handle). There’s no weird smell, everything is brand new and clean. And boy there is nothing quite like a factory fresh set of new brushes, is there my MUA friends?Overall these are stylish and uniform little brushes. They’re perfect for daily use or as a travel set given their rather compact height. Initial swipes across my skin feel nice and I’m super excited to use these on my trip!

A great versatile set
This is a nice set. It comes with a great selection of 14 different brushes.These brush handles seem sturdy and durable, and the bristles are soft and pliable. I have not noticed any loose bristles on any of my brushes. They seem to be glued in very well.All in all I think that this is a great, versatile set.I only wish that there was an instruction manual for us beginners to tell us which brush to use for which product.

Nice brushes, but they are not labeled for use. If you are new to using brushes, you have no idea which one to use. Other than that, they are fine.

Decent Set for the Price
The brushes are soft and come in a good variety for everyday makeup. They blend reasonably well and look nice. However, a few brushes feel less dense than expected and may shed slightly after washing.Good for beginners, but not professional quality.
