The smell isn’t”t that great but it does leave your hair very soft. Over all though it’s a pretty good product. Not bad for the price as well. I have similar curl hair and it does relax my hair and take the frizz out that I deal with on a daily bases.

Lotion-like Hair Mask with Floral Fragrance – Nourishing & Protecting Hairs
This is a nice hair care product as a lotion-like cream to nourish and intensify hairs. As instructed, this product should be applied only to the hairs, staying for a few minutes before rinsing out. The hairs look shining, feel soft and hydrating afterward. Although there is no information in the web page, the jar has listed the ingredients. I am familiar with a few: panthenol, hydrolyzed wheat protein, glycerol, shea butter, grape seed oil, tea tree oil and sodium hyaluronate and citric acid (see the picture). It appears the nourishing oils, proteins and chemicals have penetrated into the hairs making them appears healthy. This product comes in a large jar with a wide opening for easy at scooping. It has a very pleasant floral fragrance that stay on hair after rinsing out.There is a clear indication on the jar as saying “avoiding the scalp”, even though the nourishing agent in this cream might be beneficial to the root of the hairs. I figured that to work as a hair mask, this cream should stay on the hairs, but that might be too oily to scalp. To avoid the controversy, I like to apply to scalp at the very beginning of the sower, and wash hair with a mild detergent to remove excess of the cream. Then I apply a final layer only to the hair and rinse with water.Even though the cream is nice, the package has something to improve. The jar is made with a thin plastic material that is too fragile. It also doesn’t come with any foam or cardboard to buffer the shock during shipment. The first one I reviewed was shipped in a plain paper envelope. There are two cracks on the jar. I am glad the manufacturer replaced a new one when I reported the shipping damage to the email found on the package.

Great hair mask!
I really like this hair mask. It has a really soft formula and it is quite thick, making it really hydrating and good for dry hair. It has a nice clean scent to it, but is not pungent. Ive been using it for the last 3 weeks and it instantly my hair soft and hydrated. I keep it on for 5 minutes and then wash it out. Even if you apply it to tangled hair, it will untangle it and make it smooth. I really do recommend this hair mask.

Works Great – “Hairspray-Like” Fragrance Disappears Within Minutes After Hair is Fully Dry
I used the GOWILOVE hair mask yesterday for the first time. I am over 50 and have semi-dry graying highlighted hair. Also, I am not one to chase every trendy hair care product, and I wash my hair with drugstore brand products.Yesterday, I washed my hair with drugstore color safe shampoo and then, once my scalp was squeaky clean, applied this hair mask to my hair, starting 3-4 inches from my scalp. I used my wet brush to distribute the product and left it in while I finished my shower (about 5-7 minutes).The product was easy to brush through my hair. It made my hair feel slick after shampooing, but I was not thrilled with the fragrance. The hair mask has an old school 1970’s hairspray smell straight out of the jar and while sitting on my wet hair.After 5-7 minutes I rinsed out the product while simultaneously wet brushing my hair under the shower head.I wrapped my hair in a towel while I spent 10 minutes applying moisturizer and makeup. After unwrapping the towel, I could still smell the hairspray type scent in my damp hair. I dried and styled my hair using my usual heat protectant spray. Throughout the process I could smell the “hairspray” smell from the GOWILOVE hair mask. Although I liked the soft texture of my hair, I was not thrilled with the smell.Fortunately, within 20 minutes after finishing heat styling, the hairspray smell disappeared. Also, the next morning when I awoke, when I can ordinarily smell smoke, hair product, etc. in my hair, there was no smell!Today I did my usual “second day styling” briefly usig heated dryer brush to smooth flyaways and curve my ends under. I applied my normal heat protectant spray along with light application of lamellar spray. My hair turned out nicely and continued to not have residual “hairspray” odor.Overalll I am happy with the product.PROS:Moisturized semi-dry color treated hair, giving it a soft texture.Second day hair styled nicely and did not look greasyObjectionable “hairspray-like” fragrance dissipates after initially drying hairCONS:I didn’t like the initial “hairspray-like” fragrance from the product straight out of the jar on freshly washed hair.SUMMARY:I deducted one star from my rating because I am not a fan of the smell of the product when it is initially applied to hair. I gave it a positive 4 star rating because it moisturized my hair and the objectionable “hairspray like” fragrances was gone within minutes after drying hair.
