Good economical mirror
It works fine. The mounting arm is much sturdier than the other type that I had before that “scissors” out. The magnification mirror is very strong and gets you up close. The tweezers are a bonus. Can’t beat the price either. The screw caps seem like they are too short for the threads, however I used a pliers to tighten them all the way without a problem. The mirrors don’t distort in any noticeable way at all. I might buy another one for my second bathroom.

Beautiful mirror with a hardware issue
This is a gorgeous mirror in a brushed nickel finish that matches the rest of my bathroom fixtures perfectly. Both sides of the mirror are flawless, magnification on one face and standard on the other. It is well built, and all the joints move smoothly as intended. The installation design was quick and easy, with even different types of mounting hardware included. However I encountered one fatal flaw. The length of the bolts on the wall plate are too long for the arm attachment plate and bolt covers, so even at their tightest possible position, there is a gap in the bolts showing so the mirror flops around at the base. I contacted the customer service e-mail included in the package, and they said to either buy new bolts from a hardware store, which wouldn’t work because theirs are welded on, or request an exchange through Amazon. Hopefully it was a manufacturing fluke, and the next set won’t have the same problem. Otherwise a pair of carefully chosen washers may be in order.Edit: The replacement arrived next day and indeed did solve the issue. You can see the top plate on the wall mounting end is taller compared to the old one. Happy the issue is fixed and we have a fully functional and securely mounted mirror now. I may have initially received an odd manufacturing lot.

Great Close-Up Mirror that Makes Grooming Much Easier!
I picked this up as a replacement for an older wall mirror that had started to loosen up over time, and this one has been a big improvement. The build quality feels solid right away with the stainless steel construction, and once mounted it stays in place without that sagging issue I had before. The extendable arm is really useful and gives you plenty of flexibility to pull it out when needed and tuck it away neatly when you are done. What really stands out though is the 30X magnification side, it gets incredibly close and makes a huge difference for things like trimming a mustache, beard, or even dealing with eyebrow and nose hair. It is one of those features you do not realize you needed until you use it and then it becomes hard to go back. The standard 1X side is also clear and distortion free, which is great for everyday use. Switching between the two sides is smooth and the mirror holds its position well once adjusted. It did take a moment to get used to how close you need to be for the 30X side, but once you find that sweet spot it works perfectly. It has made grooming tasks quicker and more precise, especially as my eyesight is not what it used to be. I held my iPhone camera lens over the mirror to show how close you can get, it’s awesome! Overall, this is a well built, functional and great price on a mirror that does exactly what it is supposed to do and makes a great addition to any bathroom setup, and it would make a really thoughtful gift as well.

This makeup mirror has become one of my favorite little upgrades in the bathroom.
