Sponges that provide either natural or medium coverage
This set would be a perfect little stocking stuffer for any makeup lover! Or, if your beauty blenders have seen better days, maybe it’s time to get some new ones! :)You get 2 beauty blenders in the package.I really like and appreciate the darker, neutral colors. So many beauty blenders are pastel pink, light yellow, even white. They stain horribly and then look so ugly for the rest of their days! The darker browns still absorb color, obviously, but it is so much less noticeable. These aren’t the traditional egg shape (pointed at the top and rounded at the bottom). Instead, they are pointed at the bottom and slanted flat on the top.The sponges are latex free, super soft, and spongy. Some blenders are way too firm. These are one of the softer, springier blenders I have found. One is lighter and softer than the other.I get them a little damp first, then apply my foundation. It prevents the makeup from looking streaky or cakey. I was impressed that these didn’t absorb the majority of my foundation like many sponges/beauty blenders I have tried in the past. The bouncier one gives a more natural look while the somewhat firmer one allows you to build your coverage more.I have already washed these several times and they are holding their shape and color beautifully!

Interesting set of makeup sponges – work well
I am a fan of Real Technique and have used their beauty sponges in the past. This set was interesting to me because of the different color and the different textures. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect with the sponges. The closed cell sponge functions like a “typical” Real Technique sponge. It can be used both dry and wet, although I prefer wet as I think it blends better. When wet it expands to a much larger side and is much softer. I find it easy to apply foundation and easy to blend highlights. It feels smooth, when used either wet or dry, when applying makeup. I hadn’t used the open cell type sponge before. I also used it both wet and dry. When using it wet, it doesn’t really stay wet when you wring it out and it doesn’t really change sizes. When applying makeup, either wet or dry, I found it a weird texture to be putting on my face. I think it blended the best when wet. And even though I wasn’t a fan of the feel of the texture on my face, I think it gave me the best look. The description is correct and you’ll get two different looks from the sponges. This is a great set and I’ll be looking to purchase this again when I need a new beauty blender.

      Quality Bare Finish Sponge Duo
Real Techniques New Nudes Bare Finish Sponge DuoThese work really well and blend foundation and concealer smoothly without soaking up half the product in the process. They have a soft feel, expand nicely when damp, and give an even finish without much fuss. Real Techniques usually knows what it’s doing in the sponge department, and this set keeps that streak going. Easy to use, easy to clean, and they earn their spot in the makeup drawer.Would I buy again? Yes.

Great quality, bare finish sponge duo set
Love these sponges. They are great quality easy to use and easy to clean. They give my foundation, concealer and powder a flawless finish. These are a great brand that I’ve always used. The new sponge that has a more lighter, airy memory foam texture is supposed to create a matte like finish. I noticed a little bit more of a matte look but not much difference it works great for the foundation to have more of a medium to full coverage look, but the original sponge works better for powder and concealer. I like that you get both in this duo kit. I always wet my sponges. It makes it so much easier to apply product and I also noticed it stretches the product further you don’t have to use as much foundation. I prefer this method over using a brush it also is a lot less time-consuming if you are in a hurry. I like how versatile these are. They’re not just for foundation, but for concealer powder and even liquid bluish. I love the pointed end for my under eye concealer, and the flat angled top is great for all over your face coverage. It makes blending a breeze.

These Sponges Do What They’re Supposed To Do
I’m really into skincare and beauty, but makeup tools are where I tend to accumulate things fast. I already have a borderline excessive brush collection, so it’s kind of funny that I’m just now getting into makeup sponges. That said, this set pulled me in pretty easily. I’ve used this brand for years, and their stuff is consistently good without being overpriced, which I always appreciate. One of the first things I noticed was the color. It sounds minor, but it really isn’t. It’s rare to find sponges in brown tones that actually match deeper foundation shades, and anyone who uses makeup regularly knows how easily lighter sponges get stained. These hold up much better visually, which I appreciate more than I expected.I was also curious about the two different sponge types. I usually lean toward anything that gives a more matte finish, so I assumed that would be my preference here. Surprisingly, I’ve been reaching for the lighter, airier sponge more. It gives a softer, more diffused finish that still looks put together, just not heavy. The other sponge is a bit more traditional and builds coverage more, so having both is actually useful depending on how much effort I’m putting in that day. They’re soft, blend my makeup evenly, and don’t show stains. What more could I want in a makeup sponge?

      Weird Texture and Finish
I love this brand of sponges but I just didn’t like these. The texture feels off compared to other sponges, and it didn’t blend my makeup well. It actually made my face look a little splotchy, which was frustrating. I went back to my usual sponge pretty quickly.
