I’ve been using this hair oil for about a month now, and I have wavy/curly hair, so I was hoping it would help tame the frizz without weighing it down.First, this oil is very nourishing. It definitely adds softness and shine, and you can tell it’s doing something good for my dry hair. As I say that, it’s still much too heavy for me as an everyday oil. Even using a small amount just on my ends or on the short hairs around my face, it tends to pull down my curls and makes my hair look pretty oily.Because of that, I switched how I use it. Instead of a daily frizz controller, I now use it as a conditioning oil for 2 days before my shampoo day. For those 2 days my hair doesn’t look its best. The hair is pulled down and I look like someone who has straight-ish hair. It’s not so bad that I can’t go out (as long as I don’t meet someone I know LOL). Doing this works so much better for me. Since doing that, my hair does seem less frizzy overall, and my curls hold their shape longer instead of turning into what I call “frizzy witch hair.”The product says it’s unscented, but it definitely has a noticeable scent. It’s actually really nice though, kind of a delicious tropical coconut smell. Just something to be aware of if you’re expecting zero fragrance.So, this is a good product, but it really depends on how you use it. If you have finer or looser curls like mine, it may be too heavy for daily use. But as a deeper conditioning treatment, I find it works quite well.
