Top Heavy
Perfect for my needs. A small portable mirror on a stand for doing my hair in the morning, or anytime of the day for that matter. I will say it is a little top-heavy and with the simplest tap it does fall over so be careful you don’t want to end up with seven years of bad luck

Mirrors don’t represent vanity
This is a story. This was my stray senior cat’s last 24/7 friend. We prepared him to come inside when it got really cold a couple of years ago and we believed his cedar shelter wasn’t enough. Although he didn’t bond well with my other two cats, they attained tolerance with each other. He came to know the house really well, had his favorite napping places, knew where all the litter pans were, and the room that always had food. He was almost totally deaf, his cataracts blocked his peripheral vision, his teeth were broken or gone, and his arthritis was crippling. Close to the end, he chose a corner in the kitchen where we set up a bed with a heated pad, his own dishes, his own litter pan, and so he wouldn’t get lonely, this clearly attractive, fully adjustable, sturdy gooseneck MIRROR. In the corner it couldn’t tip over. We pet him and stopped to talk to him every time we walked by him, and when weren’t in the room, he edged even closer to his new friend.

Mirror Face Fine; Other Parts Problematic
The stand doesn’t balance on the stand well at all, and it screws loose often. Most times I use it is when it’s resting on a side of the mirror itself because it’s hard to balance on the stand.The white paint from the back of the mirror chips endlessly and sticks and gets all over the place, including on skin and fingers (see photo attached); I really hope it’s non-toxic and doesn’t get into my eyes, mouth, or nose from the way it gets all over the place. I gave it the 3 stars because I’ve had it for a while now and the mirror itself seems durable and hasn’t cracked, broken, or gotten scratched.I saw some reviews mention adhesive, and I haven’t had any issue with the part that adheres to the back of the mirror becoming loose – it seems to be firmly in place.

Yes, I have a large bath room, vanity mirror but my eyesight has changed.And I prefer to have a portable, smaller mirror with which I can work with and hold in my hand, at times When applying my makeup. I love the flexible neck on this mirror and I especially love the stand. It is lightweight and can be moved around my vanity Easily. The size of the actual mirror makes a lot of sense. Because it is rectangular.And I feel I can put my face up close to it very comfortably. Those small rounder style, portable mirrors tend to pivot forwards and backwards just when you don’t want them to. This mirror is not expensive, but for my uses, it is priceless.
