While I’m happy that Selena Gomez has been having a low-key summer, I’ve really been missing her manicure content. Luckily, she pops in every so often to keep me—and nail techs around the world who need a little inspiration—satisfied.
On Monday, July 14, Gomez shared an Instagram post recapping a day on set with dancer and ballet teacher Anna Collins and photographer Moni Haworth. The dreamy photoshoot took place in a rose garden, where the 32-year-old posed with her new lip gloss and petal pink manicure. Now, for the rest of summer, we’ll be trying to copy both.

Long and filed into a softened almond shape, Gomez’s nails all feature the same semi-matte light pink shade. The soft color reminds me of Hermes’ Rose Porcelaine Polish or OPI’s Put It In Neutral. Her nail artist definitely used a few coats to make the light shade opaque before adding a top coat that wasn’t too glossy. The vision here is more so a soft blur of sweetness, like velvet or… a petal.
