New favorite mascara
This is now my favorite mascara. I officially got rid of all my others. I like a more natural make up look and this does not get clumpy like other mascaras. I also tend to smudge even waterproof mascaras as I am quite active and have not had that issue with this one. It is also easy to remove. I am hoping it will help my lashes stay healthy.

Doesn’t smear and lasts all day
I have bought so many different brands of mascara, simply trying to find one that wouldn’t smear under my deep set eyes or over my eye shadow, that I had about given up. I’m older now and I use a lot less makeup than I did when I was younger (and really didn’t need it). My skin is more wrinkled and delicate and too much makeup on older women tends to look garish, in my opinion. I wanted something that looked more natural and would highlight my very light lashes, which you literally cannot see without some mascara. I have used this brand’s mascara before, but, like most mascara, it smeared. I had never before tried tubing mascara.I’m a convert! This mascara did not smear, either over or under my eyes. It stayed on until I took it off at the end of the day. I occasionally I have a tiny bit of the mascara “break off” and it leaves a speck here and there, but it’s easy to remove and doesn’t make me look like a raccoon.I bought the brown and I use some petroleum jelly to tissue it off, followed by a wipe to finish the job. My eyes are very sensitive to everything and this product does not bother my eyes at all. You don’t need multiple coats—one or two at most. And you have to work fast. But I highly recommend it and think it’s perfect for the mature set or those who want a more natural look. Great product.

Surprisingly lengthening without the clumps
I’ve tried a lot of mascaras that promise “lash extension” results, and this is one of the few that actually delivers. The tubing formula gives me noticeably longer, more defined lashes without the heavy, spidery look. It builds well, two coats give me clean length, and a third adds drama without clumping.What I love most is the smudge‑proof wear. Even on long days or in Florida humidity, it doesn’t flake or transfer under my eyes. And removal is genuinely as easy as advertised: warm water + gentle pressure and the tubes slide right off. No rubbing, no residue.If you want length, separation, and zero mess at the end of the day, this is a great pick. If you prefer a thick, volumized lash look, you may want to layer it with a volumizing base.

👁️✨ Good Tubing Mascara, But It Flakes ✨👁️
This tubing mascara has some great qualities — it goes on smoothly, defines lashes beautifully, and is super easy to remove with just warm water. I love how it lengthens without clumping and gives a nice, clean look.However, I did notice that it flakes throughout the day, especially after a few hours of wear. I found myself checking the mirror often to wipe away little specks under my eyes. It’s a bit disappointing because the formula itself performs well otherwise.If you don’t mind a little touch-up here and there, it’s still a decent mascara for the price. But if you need all-day reliability, this might not be your best bet.

Flaky Quality
Purchased the brown color here on amazon because there was a great deal on it vs on Tarte’s website or Sephora (where I normally purchase). Although it applies just as smoothly as previous tubes of this same mascara I’ve had in the past, this one in particular is very flaky and prone to smudging. Need to be hyper-vigilant about not accidentally smudging while wearing or else I will have tons of little flakes on my face immediately. Also removal is a pain due to how flaky it is. I go through an entire makeup removal wipe just to remove this mascara due to how much residue comes off. Overall, disappointed in the product as this is not the quality I’m used to expecting from Tarte and will not purchase through Amazon again.

I don’t often do reviews. It’s mostly because I just don’t have the time. But I had to make time to review this item. This tarte tubing mascara is incredible. I initially used it on its own and even though it looked beautiful, I did notice some flaking about midday and definitely at the end of the night. But I read someone else’s review and this girl‘s eyelashes looked absolutely stunning. And she mentioned that she used it with primer. Now, I don’t know if she meant any primer, but I did some research and found that tarte has a tubing primer and so I went and bought it. The smaller travel size is sold out on Amazon currently but I went into Kohl’s and got it from there. I wore it for over 16 hours and my eyelashes are completely stunning. They have not flaked and I do not have raccoon eyes, which is usually the case with every other mascara that I’ve ever tried (I’m not sure if it’s because of my eye shape and because I already have tear troughs). I promise that this product did not smudge, flake or taint my skin in anyway. It really does come off with warm water only and doesn’t need anything else.I plan to continue using this mascara and this mascara only. If you have difficulty with raccoon eyes, flaking or anything of the sort, buy the mascara, but make sure that you’re using it with the tarte primer and I promise it will just absolutely change your life. #happycustomerP.S. any darkness you see underneath my eyes is natural and hereditary. It is not because of the make up. I also did not wear concealer today so the darkness is more prevalent. I just want to reiterate that it’s not because of the mascara.

Incredible mascara. I love the shape and size of the spoolie – thin and straight.The mascara is NOT a clumpy, thick disaster — it’s smooth and applies beautifully. Lengthens, thickens and doesn’t glob your lashes together. LOVE.Also, I have sensitive eyes and other mascaras (even pricey brands), leave me wanting to rub my itchy eyes after an hour or so — I have literally zero reaction to this!It also doesn’t run or leak, yet washes off beautifully, without having to use any makeup removers to get it off your face at the end of the day.I will only be buying this mascara from now on. I hope they never change it, it’s perfect.
